Frequently asked questions
Your butt buddy stays cleanest with our ActiveCare+ set: add about 10 ml of ActiveCare+ with water to the bottle, let the solution sit for around 2 hours, then clean the bottle body thoroughly with the Bidetlity brush and rinse everything out with clean water. Repeat this every 2 weeks and your butt shower stays like new. If you don't have ActiveCare+ on hand, you can also clean the bottle with hot water and mild soap. Disinfect the bottle neck afterward to keep everything hygienic. Please don't boil it or put it in the dishwasher – the material could otherwise be damaged.
Pat yourself dry with a few strips of toilet paper afterward – you'll still save far more paper than with conventional use. Even more sustainable are our reusable butt wipes, which you wash regularly to cut paper consumption even further.
Wet wipes often contain problematic ingredients that can trigger skin irritation and disrupt the natural skin flora. On top of that, they're bad for the environment, since they're made of non-biodegradable nonwoven fabrics that burden sewage systems and oceans. With Bidetlity and the use of water, you're choosing a healthier and more eco-friendly alternative.
The Bidetlity butt shower significantly reduces toilet paper consumption and, with it, deforestation. Compared to producing toilet paper, it needs less water, and thanks to its reusability it's a sustainable alternative. With Bidetlity, you're choosing a resource-friendly solution that supports both the environment and your well-being.
After emptying the bottle, you can push a cloth through the opening and shake the bottle vigorously to remove even the last drops.
We're convinced you'll love the butt shower once you've tried it. If you're not satisfied after all, just reach out to our support team at hello@bidetlity.com – we'll find a solution!
Our butt shower is made from carefully selected, body-friendly materials:
Bottle body: PVC with the phthalate-free plasticizer ATBC (acetyl tributyl citrate). This plasticizer is also frequently used in medical applications and food-contact products.
Shower head: Polypropylene (PP) – a durable and hygienic plastic.
Loop: Silicone – flexible, hard-wearing, and pleasant to handle.
All materials are suitable for their intended use and are found in many everyday and hygiene products.
