HOW MUCH WATER DO YOU NEED ON THE GO?

The bottle holds 450 ml. One use takes roughly 0.3 to 0.45 litres - so one fill is one round. Useful to know when you are at a pitch, in a tent or at a motorway stop and want to know in advance how often you will refill.

You can refill anywhere water comes out of a tap: a sink, campsite facilities, a water canister. It does not have to be drinking water, but it should be clean water. Lukewarm feels noticeably better than ice cold - try it once and you will always do it that way.

IN YOUR LUGGAGE: PACK IT EMPTY, FILL IT THERE

The butt shower is an empty bottle made of soft plastic. Empty on the way, full only once you arrive - which makes it ordinary luggage at the airport rather than a liquid container. Rolled up, it fits into any side pocket of a backpack.
