What shape is your toilet?
Which shape do I have?

Look down at your toilet seat: at the back (toward the wall) a straight edge = D-shape (often modern wall-hung toilets), all round round/oval = O-shape.

Cold-water hose – choose length – distance toilet ↔ cold-water connection
The Warm-water hose (300 cm) is always included – just trim to the right length. Only the Cold-water hose you choose here.
How to measure right
We mean the Cold-water hose: the cold-water connection sits on the right of the bidet attachment (seen from the front). Measure from there to your shut-off valve or sink. 300 cm not enough? Extensions in the accessories.

Frequently asked questions

Does the bidet attachment need power?+
No. It runs purely on your line’s water pressure – no cable, no outlet.
Is there warm water – with no power at all?+
Yes. Connected to a warm-water line, warm water comes out of the nozzle.
Can I run the bidet attachment on cold water only?+
Yes. A cap for the hot-water inlet is included – you connect the cold water only and leave the hot-water inlet capped. Warm water is optional, not required.
Does the bidet attachment fit my toilet?+
Most common ceramic toilets. To be sure, order the free fit template – lay it down, check, done.
Does the bidet attachment fit if my toilet seat has QuickRelease?+
Almost always, yes. QuickRelease is a feature of the seat, not the ceramic: the button only releases the seat from its hinges so you can lift it off for cleaning. The hinges themselves are bolted through the two holes and unscrew like any other. So what matters is the ceramic: take the seat off and look for two holes. If they're there, it fits. Only design toilets with hidden fixings and no holes won't work.
D-shape or O-shape – which do I need?+
O-shape is round/oval, D-shape has a straight edge at the back (toward the wall) (often on modern wall-hung toilets). The bidet attachment comes in both shapes – the free template shows you which fits your ceramic.
How do I mount the bidet attachment on my toilet?+
Old seat off, bidet attachment on, connect the water at the shut-off valve – in about 20 minutes, no handyman needed. If you’re unsure about the water connection, bring in a pro.
Can water run back into the supply line?+
The bidet attachment has integrated backflow protection at the water inlet – it stops water from running back from the unit into the supply line. The design helps too: the spray arm sits above the water line and only extends when you use it. At rest it is fully retracted and has no contact with the water in the bowl.
What if the hot-water hose is too long?+
Not a problem. The hot-water hose is 300 cm of PU tubing – just cut it to the length your bathroom needs, with scissors or a knife.
Can I retrofit a bidet attachment in a rental?+
Yes. No drilling, no remodeling, no power. The bidet attachment mounts on the existing seat holes of your toilet and comes off the same way when you move out – old seat back on, done.
What does it cost to retrofit a non-electric bidet?+
99 euros. Nothing else. No electrician, no plumber, no remodel. T-pieces and hoses are included, and we send you the fit template free.
Two nozzles – what for?+
One for the butt, one for the vulva – both self-cleaning. Targeted cleaning, nothing overlaps.
Are the nozzles out all the time?+
No. The nozzles sit tucked away under the seat and stay out of sight. They only extend once you start the wash at the dial – then they retract again, rinsing themselves clean on the way.
Aren’t wet wipes just as good?+
No. Water cleans more thoroughly and is gentler on skin – and it doesn’t clog pipes. Paper was a strange idea.
New Standard or Deluxe – which one is for me?+
The New Standard runs without power: warm and cold water from the lines you already have, one dial, done. The Deluxe needs an outlet and heats on its own – which gets you a heated seat, a warm-air dryer and a remote. Both clean with water. The difference is the comfort around it.
How long is the warranty and return period?+
2-year warranty and 30-day returns. More questions? Reach us anytime at hello@bidetlity.com.
