Frequently Asked Questions about the fixed Bidet Pro
I totally get your concern. Fortunately, the Bidetlity Fixed Bidet is designed to be compatible with 95% of toilets commonly used in Germany. You can choose to connect it to a nearby sink or directly to the toilet’s water tank. This makes installation flexible and suitable for most bathroom setups.
No, the Fixed Bidet works entirely without electricity. It’s eco-friendly and easy for anyone to install.
No worries – all necessary adapters for installation are included in the package. The Fixed Bidet's water hose has a 9/16" fitting, which differs from the standard sizes commonly used in Europe. That’s why extensions usually can’t be found in regular hardware stores. The package includes a 100 cm hose and an adapter for 3/8" fittings. We also offer a 200 cm hose in our shop in case you need a longer one.
Yes, you can connect two hoses. In our shop, we offer a stainless steel connector that allows you to connect the included 100 cm hose with an optional 200 cm extension hose. That way, you can extend the total length of your Bidetlity fixed bidet hose up to 300 cm.
The control panel of the Fixed Bidet is mounted on the right side by default. However, you can purchase a hose extension in our shop, allowing you to use the bidet even if the nearest water source is on the opposite side.
Installing the Fixed Bidet is easy. You connect it to your toilet's water supply using the included adapter. The hose connects the adapter to the bidet. It's pressure-based and doesn’t require electricity. Just turn the knob - and the water flows!
No, wet wipes can’t compare to a bidet. Over time, they can cause skin irritation, microtears, and even HPV-related issues like anal warts. On top of that, wet wipes are harmful to both the environment and sewage systems. A bidet, in contrast, is a gentle and eco-friendly alternative.
Your Fixed Bidet connects directly to the fresh water line via a hose. This means the water is just as clean and safe as the water from your sink or shower.
Yes, the Fixed Bidet has an integrated backflow preventer that ensures no water flows back into your drinking water supply.
Note: Our backflow preventer does not meet the strict DIN EN 1717 standard (Category 5).
Then things might get tight - literally. Our T-adapter only works with flexible connection hoses like the ones typically found on sinks or toilets (those bendy, metal-braided ones). If your setup includes a rigid metal pipe hose, you’ll need to replace it. No worries though - a suitable flexible hose only costs a few euros.
