With medium to hard water, limescale settles on the nozzle, valves and heater – which can affect pressure, spray and the lifespan of your Bidetlity Deluxe. The filter plus occasional descaling prevents exactly that. In short: limescale damage is avoidable – but you have to act.
The water filter is made specifically for the Bidetlity Deluxe (electric bidet seat). It sits in the water inlet and protects the nozzle and internals from limescale.
Every 6 months. The reason is hygiene: the cartridge sits in water permanently, so it gets replaced twice a year — regardless of how much you have used it. If the water flow drops noticeably before then, it is of course due earlier.
It simply screws in between the water connection and the inlet hose. No tools needed.
