Our support
Equal access to medical care is something we take for granted in Germany, but unfortunately this is not the case for many women around the world. Our physical and mental health is a precious commodity and promoting it is one of BIDETLITY's goals.
With the non-profit organization @earthmedicinephysicalrehab run by FABIOLA VELASQUEZ and her team of therapists from various medical fields, we are now supporting a project that cares for refugees on Lesbos with donations of butt showers or intimate showers and monetary donations.
Deforestation and its consequences
Deforestation is a global phenomenon caused by a variety of factors, ranging from large-scale slash-and-burn agriculture to unsustainable agriculture and the daily destruction of forests in communities.
The regions most affected by deforestation are very poor and underdeveloped areas. With few options to feed their families, members of impoverished communities are often forced to destroy their environment to survive, for example by cutting down trees for construction, fuel, heating or agriculture. While this solves a short-term problem, when forests are cut down and not replanted, it has long-term consequences. The effects of deforestation are dramatic, causing severe flooding, erosion and desertification. The long-term effects of deforestation lead to even greater environmental degradation.
Eden Reforestation Projects
commentMarie KoehlerProject Manager"Eden Reforestation Projects is excited to partner with BIDETLITY to alleviate poverty and plant trees. Our achievements are made possible by our incredible donors like BIDETLITY who contribute to environmental awareness, conservation and restoration. We can't wait to see the positive impact that comes from their support."
The Mission
Eden Reforestation Projects starts by employing local people to plant trees, providing residents with a fair and stable income to support their families. As reforestation progresses, healthy forests emerge and the harmful effects of deforestation gradually disappear.
Currently planting takes place in Nepal, Madagascar, Haiti, Indonesia, Mozambique, Kenya, Honduras & Nicaragua.
